Maped Helix Wins At Black Country Chamber Of Commerce Business Awards

Stationery giant wins Employer of the Year at business awards on 22 November.

Attended by 420 guests, the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Business Awards was glittering black-tie dinner at the University of Wolverhampton last week (22 November). The awards, the biggest and best celebration in the region’s business calendar, have been staged by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce since 2001 to celebrate the accomplishments of regional firms and business stars.

Among the winners was Employer of the Year, Maped Helix, whose UK headquarters are based in Kingswinford, West Midlands. Helix has been making quality stationery products for over 130 years. Since launching in 1887, iconic Helix and Oxford products have helped many generations through their school life. Now part of the French-owned Maped group, Maped Helix produces a wide range of stationery for school, home and office.

“Wow, what a night,” Maped Helix wrote on its Linkedin profile. “We’re still feeling the excitement and pride from such a memorable evening. Now comes the fun part—finding the perfect spot to display this incredible award. Here’s to celebrating this milestone and looking forward to what’s next.”
