Coffeenotes, Vent For Change and The Art File among the finalists in the Gift of the Year (GOTY) 2025.
More than 120 folk from the home, gift and greetings industry stepped up to judge the competition organised by The Giftware Association, with many taking the time to check out the shortlisted products in person at Spring Fair earlier this month.
The Gift Association’s PR and marketing manager Chris Workman said: “Each year we’re blown away by the level of talent and creativity within the home and gift industry, and 2025 has been no exception. It’s nice for me to set up the display and finally see the products in the real life. The judging panel faced an incredibly tough decision, with so many outstanding products and brands.”
Coffeenotes’ pack of three tutti frutti notebooks are a finalist in the Made in the UK category. Sarah Downey, co-founder of Coffeenotes says: “This is great news for our new UK- made colourway Tutti Frutti, which is packed with punchy bright retro colours of lilac, lime green and tangerine orange. It’s become a big hit with customers too.”

Vent For Change is a finalist with its Luxury collection of A4 document/tablet wallets, A5 and A6 wire bound and perfect bound notebooks. And The Art File’s Storybook collection of greeting cards is a finalist in the Cards, Wraps & Stationery category.
After the online and in-person judging rounds, there’s just one more step for the judges – giving their thoughts on the Judges’ Choice product to be declared gift of the year.
There’s also the People’s Choice Award where the public can vote here for their favourite from all the shortlisted entries, including the finalists. Voting ends on 16 May.
And all will be revealed at The Gift Awards black-tie presentation on 15 May at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel, where the GOTY winners will be announced, alongside The Greats Awards for outstanding gift retailers, which is owned and organised by Max Publishing, which also owns StationeryNews, Stationery Matters and London Stationery Show.
